Tufan Minnullin’s theatre laboratory “Kuzlek” (“Glasses”)  will be held in Kazan for the first time.

“The foundation of  theatrical endeavours will be the “Apush” theatre studio. We are talking about developing theatrical art, especially children’s theatre. This is a very important area” said Azat Abzalov, the Head of the Department of Culture of the Kazan Executive Committee, at a press conference held by the Tatar-Inform news agency to discuss cultural events in Kazan.

He reminded us that children’s theatre studios operate in schools and cultural centres across Kazan.

• “The Tatar children’s theatre studio “Apush” was opened under the patronage of the Mayor of Kazan in March 2022. It currently operates as a municipal budgetary cultural institution of Kazan”.
• To date, approximately 200 children are involved in the 5 studios. Each group is led by experienced professional tutors. The studio has produced 8 performances in just two years.
