On April 22, at Kindergarten No. 101 of a combined type in Omsk, the event “The Soul Rests in a Friendly Family” was held as part of the Days of Tatar Culture. With the support of the Omsk city administration, the kindergarten’s head and staff, as well as the Regional Tatar National-Cultural Center “Irtysh” and the children’s youth center “Altyn,” a festive event was organized for young children.

The kindergarten staff prepared a children’s performance and presented a literary and musical composition titled “Karga Botkasy” (“Rook Porridge”). Children from various groups of the kindergarten sang Tatar songs and performed traditional Tatar dances. It is worth noting that children of different nationalities beautifully and effortlessly sang in the Tatar language. The audience consisted of the senior groups of the kindergarten.

On our part, we invited young talents from the “Umirzaya” ensemble, Children’s School of Arts No. 5, and the Siberian Branch of the Omsk Regional Tatar National-Cultural Autonomy “Ibir,” who showcased their talents to the young spectators.

At the end of the celebration, the youth center “Altyn” organized a game program featuring traditional Tatar national games for the children. The event was also graced by the melodious voice of the esteemed Chumarova Fagilya Alimovna.
