The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan has announced an open competition for the best conceptual design of a bust of the scholar, writer, and educator Kayum Nasyri.

Professional sculptors who are citizens of the Russian Federation and reside within its territory are invited to participate in the competition.
The bust is planned to be installed near the apartment building at 7 Tatarstan Street, at the beginning of Kayum Nasyri Street in Kazan.

Participants are expected to take a comprehensive approach: in addition to designing the bust itself, they must also present ideas for landscaping and beautifying the surrounding area.
Applications for participation are accepted until May 20, 2025.
