In Kazan’s Aviastroitelny District, the “Kurshe Fest” neighborhood festival will take place on August 23. The event will be held in the courtyard area of house No. 15 on Leningradskaya Street. Guests can look forward to an exciting quest-style tour around the district and a children’s drawing contest, according to the press service of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts.

Participants will have the chance to learn about the history of the Aviastroitelny District, its streets, and its famous residents. Special attention will be given to the role of Tatarstan during the Great Patriotic War, as the district’s history is closely connected with the wartime years.

The festival will also feature a drawing contest called “The Cultural Map of Kazan,” where each participant can showcase their creativity and win prizes.
