From May 24–26, Kazan Days will be held in Minsk for the first time. A large festival of Tatar culture will take place near the Sports Palace, featuring national cuisine, concerts, a craft fair, and free activities for guests.
The program includes:
• Tatar cuisine: echpochmak, kystyby, gubadia, elesh, Kazan plov, horse meat and duck shashlik, chak-chak, and other national dishes
• Concerts by artists and ensembles from Tatarstan — ranging from folk music to rock and electronic music
• Workshops, folk dances, coin minting, and painting
• A fair with ceramics, leather goods, skullcaps (tubeteikas), jewelry, and national sweets
• Activities and interactive areas for children and adults
• A raffle for a trip to Kazan among festival guests

Minsk and Kazan became twin cities in December 2024. The cities are developing cooperation in culture, education, economy, and youth projects.
