On May 20, the award ceremony for the winners of the “Saiyar” Children’s and Youth Theater Festival took place at the Lenin Culture and Leisure Center in Kazan.

The event was attended by children from 31 districts of the republic — the winners of the festival’s zonal stage.

Performances at the festival were staged in the native languages (Tatar, Chuvash, Udmurt, Mari) of the peoples living in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
At the municipal stage, more than 1,000 groups performed, and 530 works were accepted for the republican stage (479 performances in Tatar, 36 in Chuvash, 4 in Mari, 11 in Udmurt).

The Grand Prix winners were “Kindergarten No. 62 ‘Tirek’ in the village of Nizhnyaya Maktama” from the Almetyevsky District and the Menzelinsk Gymnasium. 1st through 3rd places were shared among 18 educational institutions and kindergartens. Additionally, 20 laureates were named. 21 groups were awarded Letters of Gratitude from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
