Rainur Khasanov, head of the World Forum of Tatar Youth, spoke at a press conference about the upcoming Pechen Bazar festival and the program of the World Forum of Tatar Youth.
The forum will take place at the Bashir Rameyev IT Park and will bring together about 200 delegates. On the main day, August 27, delegates will work in thematic sections: Media, Business, Digitalization, History, and Education. The plenary session is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
From August 26 to 28, Kazan will host the Pechen Bazar, a festival of Tatar urban culture, on the embankment of Lake Kaban. For the first time, it will run for four days.
In 2023, the festival’s concept revolved around fashion, with shows of clothing and accessories created by designers. This year’s theme will be “The Tatar Home.” Right at the entrance, visitors will see a photo zone styled as a traditional Tatar room. Exhibitions on interior and exterior design will be presented, and the lecture hall will host discussions such as “What Should a Tatar Home Look Like?” and “What Were Homes Like in the Soviet Period?” among others, Khasanov noted.
