On October 19, the Bugulma Muhtasibat will host the All-Russian Festival of Munajats “Milli Mong”. The event is organized within the framework of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, announced in Russia and Tatarstan, as well as the Year of Heroes (“Qaharmanlar Yılı”), initiated by the Muftiate of Tatarstan, and also as part of the celebration of the 1500th anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, which is being commemorated this year, 1447 AH. The festival is organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan (SAM RT), the Bugulma Muhtasibat, and the Center of Tatar Culture in Bugulma.
The purpose of the Munajats Festival is to popularize Tatar-Muslim traditions among the population, preserve and develop the Tatar language and national cultural heritage, and strengthen friendly ties between residents of different regions of Russia.
Participation is open to individuals aged 7 and older. Performers will showcase their skills in two categories: “solo performance” and “ensembles.” The jury will evaluate performance skills, emotional expression of imagery, clear diction, distinct sound, accuracy of intonation, and more. Winners and laureates of the festival will receive diplomas and valuable prizes. Each participant will be awarded a certificate of participation.
The festival will take place on October 19, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at the Center of Tatar Culture, located at 3 Gashek Street, Bugulma.
