Yesterday, the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars congratulated veterans who have retired on the International Day of Older Persons. Among them were Indus Tagirov, the first Chairman of the Executive Committee, Doctor of Historical Sciences, his deputies Ramzil Valeev, Roza Tufitullova, Candidate of Historical Sciences Takhmina Biktimirova, and other well-known figures.

Vasil Shaykhraziyev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the World Congress of the Tatars, addressed the veterans with warm words and thanked them for dedicating their lives to serving the Tatar people.

“The Tatar nation does not mean individual activity, but the unity of every person. The essence of humanity lies in unity — in compassion and respect for one another. Religion teaches us to be attentive and respectful toward the elderly,” noted Vasil Gayazovich.

The veterans who attended the celebration shared their experiences, expressed their gratitude to the Congress, and emphasized the importance of such meetings in preserving continuity between generations.
