During a working visit to Kyrgyzstan, Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, visited General Education School No. 29 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil in Bishkek.
The name of Musa Jalil was given to the school in February of this year. The initiative was put forward by the Tatar-Bashkir organization “Tugan Tel” in Bishkek and the school administration. Vasil Gabdelgayazovich expressed gratitude to the leadership of Kyrgyzstan and the mayor of the city for their support and for implementing this initiative. “Just recently we marked the 81st anniversary of the Great Victory. When you watch the Victory Parade in Moscow and the Immortal Regiment procession, your heart tightens. This is our shared victory!” noted the head of the National Council in his speech.
During his address, Vasil Shaykhraziev, on behalf of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan, greeted the school administration, teachers, and students, wishing them good luck and success. On behalf of the World Congress of the Tatars, he donated over 150 Tatar books to the school.
As part of the visit, a flower-laying ceremony also took place at the bust of Musa Jalil, which is located on the school grounds.
