Activists from the regional public organization of Tatar women “Sakhibzhamal” of the Republic of Bashkortostan met with the leadership of the World Congress of the Tatars. The meeting took place during a two-day trip to Kazan and the Arsky District of Tatarstan.
The guests from Bashkortostan were welcomed by Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars. Then, Mars Tukaev, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, expressed words of admiration and gratitude to the “Sakhibzhamal” Tatar women’s organization: “Even in the most difficult times, you have been our support, always supported our activities, and actively participated in all events,” he noted.
Kadriya Idrisova, head of the Organization of Tatar Women and chair of the regional public organization “Ak Kalfak,” welcomed the guests and wished them to enjoy the program of their visit to Tatarstan, to gain inspiration and strength for future projects and events.
The program of the delegation’s trip from the “Sakhibzhamal” Tatar women’s organization is rich with significant cultural and memorial events. After the meeting at the World Congress of the Tatars, the guests will visit places associated with the history of prominent Tatar figures, laying flowers at the cemetery where the first Tatar actress and founder of the Tatar theater, Sakhibzhamal Gizzatullina-Volzhskaya, rests.
Tomorrow, the delegation will head to the Arsky District. The program includes excursions to the Tukay House-Museum in Kushlavych and the renovated Gabdulla Tukay Literary Memorial Museum Complex in Kyrlay. A special part of the program will be a visit to the Aydar Fayzrakhmanov House-Museum in the village of Verezy, where guests will learn about the work and legacy of the famous artist and director of the State Ensemble of Folk Music of Tatarstan.
We hope that this trip will become an important event for strengthening cultural ties between regions and preserving the memory of outstanding representatives of the Tatar people.
