On June 6, at the stadium-racecourse in the city of Mamadysh, one of the most vibrant events of the district’s Sabantuy holiday will take place — the final of the “Tatar Kyzy – 2026” (Tatar Girl) contest.

Ten contestants will compete for the main title, each of whom has already introduced themselves in a series of publications and captured the attention of viewers.

The finalists will have to go through six creative and intellectual challenges designed to reveal their talents, knowledge, and commitment to national traditions. The participants will present a business card segment entitled “I am a Tatar Girl,” showcase vocal or choreographic performances, walk in a fashion show wearing national costumes, take part in an intellectual tour on the history of Tatarstan, demonstrate their culinary skills, and complete a special homework assignment — a hand-embroidered towel with the inscription “Sabantuy-2026.”

Based on the results of the contest, a winner will be determined, who will receive the main title and a cash prize of 50,000 rubles. Additionally, the jury will recognize participants in ten special nominations, each of which will be awarded a prize of 10,000 rubles.

The organizers emphasize that the final will be not only a competition of beauty and talent but also a true celebration of Tatar culture, traditions, and femininity.
