The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with activists  of the Association of American Tatars on the evening of Sunday, February 2, 2020, in New York. We remind  that Rustam Minnikhanov is in New York on a two-day working visit (February 2-3, 2020).

From February 10 to 15, a parliamentary lesson will be held at  schools of Tatarstan for the 12th time. It will be devoted to the topic “Keeping traditions, creating the future”. This was announced at a meeting of the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Mukhametshin, with teachers participating in the parliamentary lesson 2020.

In Ufa  the square  named after  Tukay  may appear. Deputies of the City Council considered this issue at a meeting of the Presidium. The name of the Tatar poet is proposed to be assigned to the square next to the Ufa State Tatar Theater "Nur", where a monument to the poet is had been erected.
