On August 22nd, Vasil Shaikhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, arrived in Tomsk on a working visit.

He was greeted at the airport by Yegor Timofeev, Head of the Department of Internal Policy and Social Communications of the Tomsk Region Administration; Shamil Khalitov, Director of the Regional State Cultural Institution “Centre of Tatar culture”; and Nail Mazitov, Chairman of the Local Public Organization of the National Cultural Autonomy of  Tatars of Tomsk Region.

An official meeting with Governor V.V. Mazur of the Tomsk Region is scheduled for today. Vasil Shaikhraziev will also participate in the XV International Folk Crafts Festival “Axe Holiday”.
