For the first time in the history of the Tatar Diaspora in Turkey, in Antalya on the Mediterranean coast, Sabantuy will be celebrated!

The organizer of this holiday is the Tatar Diaspora of Antalya.

The Tatar Diaspora of Antalya is one of the many diasporas living in this region. The bulk of the Diaspora consists of young people and the younger generation. The main task is to support the culture and traditions of our people far from the Motherland.

In the field of culture, the most important events in the life of the Tatar Diaspora are the celebration of Sabantuy. This year for the first time on July 13 in Antalya  the national holiday Sabantuy will take place. The main goal of the event is the preservation of the national identity and familiarity of the Turkish people with the history, customs and traditions of the Tatar people, the development and strengthening of cultural and business ties between Turkey and Russia.

Sabantuy is a favorite holiday of the Tatar people, in it the customs of the people, songs, dances merge.

Guests at the Sabantuy in Antalya will find an interesting, diverse program: a concert of artists from Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, fun contests, games for children and adults, a fair of national souvenirs, as well as national treats.
