On April 20, a national Tatar holiday – Sabantuy took place in the center of Dubai in Safa Park. This year, more than 2 thousand people gathered for the holiday. The program included various national Tatar games, a concert with performances by Tatar artists, traditional wrestling, Tatar folk dances and dances. Guests could buy souvenirs and taste dishes of the national Tatar cuisine.

People’s Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Zainab Farkhetdinova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Rayaz Fasikhov performed at the Sabantuy.

The event was attended by the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai Oleg Fomin.

Firdus Zainullin became the absolute batyr of Sabantuy-2024 in Dubai.
