Jubilee celebrations in Serov

Serov  city  hosted a solemn evening dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Center for Tatar and Bashkir Culture “Chulpan”.

 

25 years ago, in order to cooperate on the issues of preservation, development and support of national culture and traditions, a decision was taken in Serov to establish the Center for Tatar and Bashkir culture. One of the prerequisites for the creation of a national cultural community was the creation in 1992 of the World Congress of Tatars.

 

For a quarter of the Century’s work in Serov, many national and cultural events are held to preserve the Tatar culture and traditions, the Tatar and Bashkir culture ensemble “Tau Yoldyzy” was created, a mosque was built, and a Sunday school for studying the Tatar language opened.

 

The jubilee celebrations were attended by  head of the Serovski urban district Elena Berdnikova,  manager of the Northern Administrative District Yevgeny Prein,  deputies of the ZSSO and the Duma of the Serov GO.

 

For the merits in preserving interethnic harmony and peace in the Serovsky urban district, for many years of cooperation in the preservation and development of the Tatar national culture and traditions,  Head of the Serov City District Elena Berdnikova was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk Region. Veterans and activists of the Center for Tatar and Bashkir Culture “Chulpan” were awarded with letters of thanks of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan and the “Tatary of the Urals” Tatars of the Sverdlovsk Region.
