Loyalty to tradition and creativity. The first stage of the contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2019” passed in Ulyanovsk

This year, the first competition was a check on hospitality. It estimated not only the ability to cook well, but also a real talent – to present the dish, to tell about the traditions of its preparation. Competitions for the title of the best hostess were held on March 17 in the restaurant “Veresk (Heather)”.
“Hospitable Tatars Kyzy” – according to guests and participants, is always one of the favorite contests. It helps to touch the rich traditions of the Tatar cuisine, learn about the important dishes for the people and try them. Together with the participants the dishes are prepared by their relatives – mothers, grandmothers and sisters. By the brightly decorated table one can learn a lot not only about the participant herself, but also about the traditions of her family.
Chak-chak, Echpochmak, Belesh, Kystybyy, Gubadia … These dishes always appear on the table during a holiday or just a family get-together. This year the contestants tried to hit the jury with both serving of the dishes and the recipes themselves. Someone talked about the fact that all dishes are made from natural products, someone surprised by baking with predictions, and someone – luxurious roses, carved from vegetables. So the jury had to very hard to choose the most best.

And the final of the contest “Tatar Kyzy – 2019” will be held on April 14 at the restaurant RMH. The winner, recognized by the jury as the most hospitable, beautiful, talented and athletic, will receive as a gift a smart mink fur coat. The competition was organized by the Sember Tatar Businessmen Club and Perfection Production Center. “Sember” always strives to preserve the rich traditions of the Tatar people, therefore such contests as “Tatar Kyzy” are always attached great importance.
