Moscow Headquarters and the autonomy of the Tatars in the Moscow region signed a cooperation agreement

On December 23, the national-cultural autonomy of the Tatars of the Moscow Region summed up the year and outlined plans for 2019. In the new year, the Tatars movement in the Moscow region will closely cooperate with the “Tatars of Moscow Headquarters”, which was supported by  signing of a bilateral partnership agreement. The Tatar public gathered in the final meeting: artists, writers, scientists, members of Tatar creative teams, leaders, council members and Tatar activists autonomy of the cities of the Moscow region. This year was very productive for the national-cultural autonomy of Tatars in the Moscow region: dozens of cultural and educational events were held, a regional Sabantuy was successfully held in Sergiyev Posad, a memorial evening for the Tatar poet Fanis Yarullin was held, the traditional Urman Kule youth forum thundered and much more.

An important point of the meeting was the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Tatar autonomy of the Moscow region and the “Headquarters of the Tatars of Moscow”. The partnership document was signed by  leaders Farit Mukhtasarov and Rustem Yamaleev. Tatar organizations intend to strengthen actions to solve the problems of scientific and cultural development, strengthen economic and social ties, preserve the traditions, language and culture of the Tatar people, integration, common prosperity and development of the peoples of multinational Russia. The result of the partnership will be holding cultural and educational events aimed at youth audiences. Next year, the Tatar Headquarters plans to take an active part in conducting the regional Sabantuy near Moscow in the city of Schelkovo.
