Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated on the 90th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War, a veteran Ravil Zalyaletdinov

Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region R.N. Valiullin congratulated on the 90th anniversary of World War II, a veteran Ravil Minniakhmetovich Zalyaletdinov.

Zalyaletdinov Ravil Minniakhmetovich born in Leningrad in December 14, 1926. In August 1941, he was evacuated from Leningrad to the Republic of Tatarstan, a village Turaevo (Mendeleev district). There he worked on the farm “Kyzyl May”, and then, about a year worked as a secretary in the village council.

In the spring of 1943, Ravil Zalyaletdinov went to the front and he was sent to the Black Sea fleet – on

long-range coastal artillery battery (North-Caucasian Front). Subsequently, the battery was renamed the 1st Guards Novorossiisk Artillery Battalion.

In August 1945, after the war, he was sent to study at the Naval Aviation Technical School named after Molotov (Perm). There he acquired aircraft mechanic profession and went on to serve in the Navy fleet in North Aviation Regiment, where he engaged in aircraft maintenance “Catalina.”

In 1951 with the rank of senior sergeant he demobilized and returned to Leningrad. Settled electrician in Murmansk Shipping Company, where on different ships made 4 Antarctic voyages. Ravil Zalyalyutdinov on the ship “Ob”, as part of expeditions from the Institute of Oceanography, made 3 times round the globe travels.

Ravil Minniahmetovich for Valor shown during the Great Patriotic War was awarded orders and medals. Despite his age, he remains sensitive, cheerful and open, living with big plans, feels constant warmth and care of their loved ones.
