Rinat Mukhamadiev, writer and editor-in-chief of the federal newspaper  “Tatarsky Mir” (Tatar World) , celebrated the 70th anniversary in the Tatar cultural center of Moscow, the press service of the RT Representative in the Russian Federation reports.

Also, the hero of the day was awarded the medal of the World Congress of Tatars “For great services to the Tatar people.”

Vladimir Bayarinov, Chairman of the Board of the Moscow City Organization of the Writers’ Union of Russia, Robert Nigmatullin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Rashid Kalimullin, Chairman of the Union of Composers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated the writer. The guests of the evening were figures of culture and art, scientists, representatives of the Tatarstan community in Moscow.

 

Congratulations from friends and colleagues alternated with speeches by representatives of Tatar pop music from Kazan, Ufa and Moscow. Among them were Honored Artist of Russia, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan Idris Gaziev, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan Nailya Fatekhova, folk dance ensemble “Ildan” (artistic director – Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Radif Yavaev) and many others.

Rinat Mukhamadiev is the laureate of the G. Tukai State Award, the international award  by Turkey,  awards by the Asian and African Prize “Lotos”, the awards  named after  Platonov and  Sholokhov.

 

Since 2004, the prose writer has been the head of the federal educational newspaper “Tatar World”. Mukhamadiev wrote over 70 books in the Tatar and Russian languages. The reader is well acquainted with his novels and narratives: “Ak Kyyalar Turunda Khyyal” (“The Dream of White Rocks”), “Kyonary Chitlek Kosh” (“Lions and Canaries”), “Sirat Kupere” (“Bridge over Hell”), “ Utly taba Ostende “(” Crash “) and other works.
