In Taldykorgan, in the conference hall of the KGU “Friendship House – Center for Public Accord”, a meeting of writers of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan took place.
Honorary guests of the event, held in the framework of the Festival “Friendship without borders”, became well-known writers of Tatarstan Rafis Korban, Robert Minulin and first deputy chairman of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, the first laureate of Abai award, the international award “Alash”, a laureate of Esenin award of Writers’ Union of Russia Galim Zhaylybay and famous Kazakh poet, a laureate of “Alash” award Kasymhan Begmanov.
During the meeting the guests from Tatarstan talked about themselves their works and colleagues presented the gifts: a book “Tatar ongіmelerі”, “Iske Kazan” and a collection of poems.
The moderator of the meeting was the chief editor of the regional newspaper “Zhetysu” Amire Aryn. The event was attended by intellectuals, representatives of regional
ethnic and cultural centers, members of the secretariat of the APK, the House of Friendship, youth and media representatives.

At the end, the regional philharmonic society named after singer Suyunbay Bakhytgul Abenov, soloists of folk song and dance ensemble “Tugan Tel”, Tatar ethno-cultural center and Askar Nurmykhambetov, Ilias Nikolaev performed songs in Kazakh and Tatar languages.
