February 01, 2019

In Crimea, a flash mob dedicated to World Hijab Day, which is celebrated on February 1, continues. The organizers are the Public Association of Muslims of Crimea “Boullure” with the support of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. The lash mob is called “The Story of My Hijab,” in which Muslim women tell their story of the decision to wear the hijab.

The flashmob “The story of my hijab” is held in the Crimea for the third time. During this time, the organizers received dozens of stories from Muslim women who made the decision to wear the hijab.

“We collect all the stories, we hope that in the future we will have a whole book of revelations. For every Muslim woman who made the decision to wear the hijab is truly a great event. Our society is heterogeneous, opinions are different, the attitude is also, but this is precisely the purpose of the flash mob – a call for tolerance and toleration, ”the organizers noted.

Flashmob will last until February 1 inclusive.

Three winners for the most sincere and touching story are waiting for valuable prizes.
