An important religious event is starting in Tatarstan — the International Conference “One Ummah – One Destiny”, along with celebrations dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the spiritual service of the Supreme Mufti and Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, Sheikh-ul-Islam Talgat Hazrat Tadzhuddin. Today, delegates and honored guests began arriving in Kazan.

The capital of Tatarstan is welcoming numerous delegations from regions of Russia as well as from countries near and far abroad. The Supreme Mufti himself, Talgat Hazrat Tadzhuddin, Chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, has also arrived in Kazan. Among the distinguished guests is Osama al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

As part of the celebrations, participants will discuss pressing issues concerning the Muslim ummah, the preservation of spiritual heritage, the development of religious education, and international cooperation.
