The first Sabantuy in Moscow traditionally took place at School No. 1186 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil. Guests immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the Tatar national holiday and the friendship of the peoples of Russia.

Songs and dances, traditional competitions: sack races, tug-of-war, spoon-and-egg races, potato gathering, and masterclasses — all of these are an integral part of the celebration marking the end of spring field work.

The participants of the celebration were greeted by Ruslan Kharisovich Bagautdinov, Head of the Lyublino District Council; Nailya Shakhova, Program Director of Vostok FM Radio and lecturer at the Ostankino Television School; and Roza Zhafyarovna Shakirova, former director of School No. 1186.

On behalf of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Russian Federation, Syumbel Nurislamovna Taisheva awarded our active students with honorary certificates and valuable gifts.
