Presentation of books by people’s  writer Nurikhan Fattah will be held in Kazan

January 18, 2019 at 16.00  at  the Big Reading Room of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan (Kazan, Kremlevskaya St., 33) the presentation of the books by  people’s l writer of Tatarstan Nurikhan Fattakh “Syzgyra Torgan Uklar”, “Whistling Arrows”, “Itil-river flows “. The books were published by the Tatar book publishing house in 2018 for the 90th birthday of the writer.

Representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Tatar Book Publishing House, writers, scientists, journalists, cultural and educational figures, students of Kazan University, relatives and friends of Nurikhan Fattah will take part in the literary and musical evening dedicated to the presentation of books. At the Big Reading Room of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan there will be an exhibition of books entitled “A Guide to the History of the Far Past” dedicated to the life and work of the writer.

Nurikhan Sadrilmanovich Fattakhov (10.25.1928–18.02.2004) – Writer, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1978), winner of the honorary title “Man of the Year” (1992) of the International Biographical Center (Cambridge, England), winner of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after Gabdulla Tukai (1994), national writer of the Republic of Tatarstan (1998). The creative heritage of Nurikhan Fattah is the greatest wealth of Tatar literature and culture of the XX – XXI centuries. His original works are recognized as examples not only of national, but also of world literature. His books “Seznekchuk Nitschek?” (“How do you think?”), “Bala Kölele Dalada” (“The Jigits Remain in the Steppe”), “Medir Sajidu” (“Head of the Sajid”), “Ithel ssu aka torur” (“ Itil-river flows ”),“ Kol Gali ”(“ Kul Gali ”),“ Sarmat Kyzy Surinu ”(“ Sarina daughter of Sarmat ”),“ Syzgyra Torgan Uklar ”(“ Whistling Arrows ”),“ Kryk drtneu May Anda ”( “In May, forty-fourth”), “Kichka” (“Crossing”), “Aklan” (“Atlantis”), “Erak Gasyrlar Avazy” (“Echo of the Far Century”), “Fest Dysbenesenu Sulfur” (“The Secret of the Fest Festival” ), “Shejere” (“Genealogy”), “Language of Gods and Pharaohs”, “Ancient Languages world in comparison with the Tatar “and others. They are invariably in great demand among the readers. The writer’s works received wide popularity abroad as well — translated into Russian, Turkish, English, and Uigur languages.
