“Tatar journalism in the conditions of the new time” – journalists from the regions of Russia arrive at the seminar-study

Today, in the capital of Tatarstan, a seminar begins for journalists from Russian regions who write in the Tatar language and on Tatar topics. The organizers of the seminar “Tatar journalism in the context of the new time” are the Executive Committee of the World Tatar Congress and the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia”. Within 2 days, about 50 representatives of the media will discuss their concerns and try to find ways to solve them.

From the very morning in the building of the World Congress of Tatars the registration of the arrived journalists is held and their accommodation in the hotel is organized. After lunch, the work begins on the program of the seminar.

Today for journalists  lectures  have been organzied:

“The organization of modern convergent edition”

“How to convey information. Principles of working with social networks »

“Preparation of printed periodicals in the conditions of the new time”

In the evening, guests will enjoy a cultural program.

Tomorrow, workshops for journalists will be organized in the following areas: radio-television, electronic media, print media. Then, a meeting with  Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan,  chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress, Vasil Shaikhraziev and the leaders of the WCT will be held in the building of the World Congress of Tatars. Journalists will talk on the topic “The main directions in creating a single information field in the Tatar world.” There will also be a presentation of the channel “Shayan TV”. Then there will be a round table on  formation of a strategy for the development of the Tatar people.

In the evening, the winners of the journalist contest “Tatar Ruhi әm Kalәm” will be awarded.
