On September 12 at 7:00 PM, the Kazan City Philharmonic invites everyone to an evening dedicated to celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ — Mawlid.

On the 12th day of the month of Rabi‘ al-Awwal (September 4), Bolgar hosted the traditional event Mawlid an-Nabi in honor of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Both men and women will gain authentic knowledge about marriage, their rights and responsibilities, and the ability to make well-informed decisions when choosing a spouse.

This annual event is traditionally aimed at studying the history of our people, the peculiarities of religion and spiritual heritage, as well as passing these values on to the younger generation.

The meeting concluded with the recitation of a collective dua (prayer).

The courses were part of a large-scale educational project organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of St. Petersburg and the Northwestern Region of Russia, together with the Cultural and Educational Center Dagestan.

On August 29, Kazan will host a citywide Mawlid celebration dedicated to the birth of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

As part of the event, a vaaz (religious sermon) will be delivered by the Chief Qadi of Tatarstan, Jalil Hazrat Fazlyev.
