Association of Tatars of Astrakhan took part in the opening of the festival “Friendship of Peoples”.

The festival “Friendship of Peoples”   has begun in Astrakhan these days not by accident. At once two projects of international friendship are being held in our region: Youth cultural and historical project “Beacons of friendship. Russia brings together “and the International youth shift” Astrakhan – Ziegen “. On August 13, the official opening of the festival took place at the Azimut Hotel. The participants of the two projects were welcomed in several languages ​​of the peoples living in the territory of the Astrakhan region. Members of the Association prepared a small exhibition area, where they acquainted guests with the national cuisine, costume and traditions of the Tatar people.

At the end of the opening ceremony of the festival, everyone was invited to participate in the flash mob “We are Russians!” And stretched a large flag of the Russian Federation on the Astrakhan embankment.
