From May 28 to 30, the 4th International Book Fair “Kitap-Bayram” will take place on Sovetskaya Square in the city of Ufa. It is one of the largest cultural events in the Republic of Bashkortostan. In 2026, the fair’s program will include three thematic directions: “The Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia,” “The Year of the Large and Friendly Family,” and “Everything for Victory.”

Over 80 applications have already been submitted for participation in this event from publishing houses and 15 authors, including representatives from Belarus, Iran, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other regions of the Russian Federation.

The fair’s venues will operate daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The program includes lectures organized by the Russian Society “Znanie” (Knowledge), meetings with literary figures, patriotic projects, concert performances, and educational events.
