From May 28 to 29, a delegation from Tatarstan, led by Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars, Vasil Shaykhraziev, will pay a visit to the Republic of Mordovia and Penza Oblast.

Today, the delegation will visit the village of Aksyonovo in the Lyambirsky District of Mordovia, where they will inspect the venue for the Republican Sabantuy and check the progress of preparations for the celebration.

The visit also includes an inspection of renovation work at the Aksyonovo House of Culture, a visit to the war heroes’ monument, and a visit to the mosque.

The highlight of the working trip to Mordovia will be an official meeting between Vasil Shaykhraziev and the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov.

On May 29, the delegation will depart for the Kuznetsky District of Penza Oblast, where an expanded meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the 16th All-Russian Rural Sabantuy will take place.
