Yesterday a meeting of the editorial board of the local history magazine “Native Land” took place.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev, the head of the Executive Committee of the WCT Danis Shakirov, a member of the National Council of the WCT Rinat Zakirov, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Damir Iskhakov, the director of the Institute of the Tatar Encyclopedia and Regional Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Iskander Gilyazov,the writer and public figure Fauzia Bairamova and others.

The results of the activities of the editorial board of the journal in 2022 were summed up there. The participants noted the scientific depth of publications in the journal, the relevance of topics, made suggestions for improving the publication and the journal’s website. The tasks for 2023 were also determined.
