Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov, Chairman of the Muslim Spiritual Board of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin, Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars Razil Zinnatullin took part in the ceremonial start of the equestrian run along the Tatarstan-Altai route.

The 3,100 km route runs through 8 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan and 9 regions of the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the horse race is to popularize the horses of the Tatar breed, the national traditions of the Tatar people and strengthen them with fraternal peoples living on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Participants will finish on August 30, 2023 in the Mayminsky district of the Altai Republic near the memorial sign “Altai – the heart of Eurasia”.
