In April 2024, the World Congress of the Tatars announced the II All-Russian Contest “Tidings – Khabar” for editors and journalists of Tatar-language newspapers, TV, and radio broadcasting published outside the Republic of Tatarstan.
On October 8th, a discussion of the works submitted to the II All-Russian Contest of Journalists “Tidings – Khabar” took place at the World Congress of the Tatars.
The jury members included Danis Fanisovich Shakirov, First Deputy Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars and Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars; Gulnaz Firdinatovna Shaykhieva, Head of the Department of Information Service and Media Relations of the World Congress of the Tatars; Bulat Hakimovich Ibragimov, Head of the Department for Work with Tatar Media in the Regions of Russia; Enzhe Adievna Shaykhutdinova, Head of the “Donya” studio; and Danis Salakhutdinov, Head of the Department of Affairs of the Republican Agency “Tatmedia.”
At the meeting’s outset, Danis Shakirov, Head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of the Tatars, welcomed the jury members. He highlighted the significant number of entries from media representatives covering the lives of Tatars across various regions of the country.
This year, over 30 works were submitted to the II All-Russian Contest of Journalists “Tidings – Khabar” from regions including Mari El, Udmurtia, Tyumen, Kirov, Omsk, and other regions of Russia.
The awards ceremony will be held on October 11th at the Republican Agency “Tatmedia.”
