On January 11, the resource center “House of Friendship” in Kogalym hosted the Founding meeting of the public organization “Congress of the Tatars of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra”. The event brought together representatives and leaders of public organizations from across the region, creating a platform for collaboration and strengthening ties within the Tatar community.

The primary goal of the Congress is to preserve and promote Tatar culture, language, and traditions in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous okrug – Yugra. During the meeting, participants discussed key issues affecting the Tatar community and outlined strategies for future initiatives and collaborative projects.

In a unanimous vote, Ilnur Mansafovich Musin was elected Chairman of the Congress. His experience and dedication are expected to enhance the community’s influence in the region and advance cultural development efforts.
