Yesterday, March 10, a zonal meeting was held in the city of Chistopol with the participation of leaders from several districts of Tatarstan and representatives of the World Congress of the Tatars. The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of the Chistopol, Aksubaevo, Nurlat, Spassk, Novosheshminsk, Alekseevsk, and Alkeyevsk districts.

The working program began with an introductory tour of Chistopol. Participants visited several national cultural sites in the city, where they became acquainted with the activities of local cultural and public institutions. Special attention was given to religious infrastructure: the delegation met with representatives of the local Muftiate of the Republic of Tatarstan and visited Kamaliya Madrasa, where they learned about the educational and outreach work of the institution.

During the zonal meeting, participants discussed the development of the Tatar language and culture, cooperation between municipalities and public organizations, as well as projects aimed at preserving national traditions and supporting spiritual education.

After the official part, the program continued with a joint iftar, attended by around 80 participants.
