Delegates of the 16th All-Russian Forum “National Identity and Religion” have gathered at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center for the plenary session. The event is attended by 1,071 people from 78 regions of Russia. Among them are 95 women and 986 men.

The largest delegation comes from Bashkortostan, with 107 people. The youngest participant is Usman Deberdeev, imam-khatib of the village of Verkhny Yelyuzan in Penza Oblast, who is 19 years old. The oldest participant is Galiulla Gabdrashitov, imam of the mosque in the city of Syzran, Samara Oblast, who is 92 years old.

The plenary session is being attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan. The plenary session is being chaired by Vasil Shaykhraziev, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars.
