On June 23, the final of the Republican competition “Tatar Kyzy – 2026” took place in Almetyevsk at the Neftyanik Palace of Culture. The “Tatar Kyzy” competition has now been in existence for 15 years, and it has been held at the republican level for the 9th time. Over the years, the scale and geography of the event have expanded significantly.

The official opening ceremony was led by Danis Shakirov, a deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and head of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Tatars. He welcomed the guests and audience on behalf of Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council. Danis Fanisovich emphasized: “If our beautiful women stand guard over the nation, then our men stand guard over the country!” He also expressed special gratitude to the leadership of Almetyevsk for their assistance in organizing the competition and wished the finalists good luck. Indeed, this event holds a prominent place in the republic’s cultural life and attracts widespread public attention.

In the two weeks leading up to the final, 11 young women prepared for the competition: they trained with top choreographers, vocal coaches, and stage-speech instructors, and participated in excursions and cultural events. In the final, they took to the big stage to showcase their knowledge, creative abilities, commitment to national traditions, and level of personal development.

The jury consisted of:

• Almaz Firdavesovich Khalilullin — Director of the Directorate of the World Competition “Tatar Kyzy,” Head of the Committee for Special Projects of the World Congress of Tatars (jury chairman);

• Kadriya Raesovna Idrisova — Member of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, Head of Women’s Organizations of the World Congress of Tatars, Chairperson of the regional public organization “Ak Kalfak”;

• Radik Mukharlyamovich Abdrakhmanov — Founder of the national complex “Tugan Avylym,” Head of the “Tugan Batyr” project;

• Nuriya Minnakhmetovna Khashimova — Deputy Chairperson of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, Executive Director of the Culture Support Foundation under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan;

• Enzhe Almazovna Islamova (Gabdullina) — Winner of the “Tatar Kyzy 2022” competition, finalist of the World Competition “Tatar Kyzy 2024,” Coordinator of the Directorate for Media and Public Relations.

The winner of the Republican competition “Tatar Kyzy – 2026” was Dina Azatovna Zaripova from the Baltasinsky District. She was presented with a traditional national breast ornament (khasite), a kalfak, and a certificate for 100,000 rubles.

• “Most Tender Girl” — Aysylu Aytuganovna Abdullina (Naberezhnye Chelny)

• “Most Hardworking Girl” — Diana Anatolyevna Novosyolova (Apastovsky District)

• “Most Determined Girl” — Rizaly Kurbangalievna Sibgatova (Laishevsky District)

• “Most Charming Girl” — Sirina Ilnarovna Zakirova (Baltasinsky District)

• “Most Creative Girl” — Nazirya Raisovna Khakimova (Atninsky District)

The Republican competition “Tatar Kyzy – 2026” has now concluded. Ahead lies the International competition, which will be held this October in Turkmenistan.
