Today, Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars, is on a working trip to Mordovia. The main purpose of the visit is to prepare for the republican Sabantuy, which will take place on July 4 in the village of Aksenovo.

We remind you that in 2022, the XII All-Russian Rural Sabantuy was held in the village of Aksenovo. This year, the Sabantuy of the Republic of Mordovia will be held there, with the expected participation of the Head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

As part of the trip, Vasil Shaykhraziev will meet with the organizing committee, review the progress of preparations, and visit the venue of the celebration.

Sabantuy is not just a harvest festival, but an important gathering point for the Tatar community. A large number of guests are expected this year. Plans include a showcase-competition of national cuisines, an exhibition of traditional crafts, and concerts featuring pop stars.
