At  the village of Yaushirma in the Chistopol region, an event was held dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the great writer  fellow, Gayaz Iskhaki. The event began with the laying of flowers at the writer’s monument. In the museum of G. Ishaq, the pupils of the school greeted the guests of the holiday.

Director of the museum R.M. Ibragimova told about the life and work of the writer. The pupils of the primary classes read out  poems about Gayaz Iskhaki. High school pupils  showed a dramatization from the works of “Jean Baevich”, “Kazhul citek”, the village culture workers played an excerpt from the work “Dulkyn echende”, the teachers of the school performed musical works dedicated to Gayzu Iskhaki.

The event was accompanied by a presentation on the creativity and life of G. Iskhaki.
