In 1957, Musa Jalil was awarded the Lenin Award in Literature and Art for the cycle of poems "Moabit Notebooks". 

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues and support measures for the preservation and development of the Tatar language, culture and art in the region.

During the meeting,  Vice Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan told his compatriots about the projects implemented by the World Congress of Tatars, shared plans for 2021.

The award ihas been held by the public fund "Salyat" with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, since 2015,

The monument to Musa Jalil appeared in the city in 2017 as part of the Russian project "Alley of Russian Glory"
