Almaty   city is   preparing for  traditional  Chak-Chak party  in which the organizers intend to arrange a contest  of  Tatar artists  Sandugach (nightingale).

The event is scheduled for November 1, at  a nightclub FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. The guest of honor will be the well-known Kazakh singer Ildar Sisanbaev.

“Ildar specially  came  to us from Petropavlovsk. He gladly accepted our invitation to not only perform, but also to participate in a jury  of  “Sandugach” – the representative of the Tatar ethnic and cultural associations of  Almaty Rinat Isikhakov said.

According to him, the vocal competition provides for the performance of the author’s song  or cover versions of any song in the Tatar language.

Prerequisite, the song must be sung live, without lip-synching. Duets and groups are welcome. Even better – with their musical instruments.

“Those who have little experience, we could help with  preparing. Before  actual performance a rehearsal  will be held. We would  be happy for everyone!
