Delegates of the IX All-Russian Forum of Tatar religious figures read a prayer in the Mardjani mosque

Delegates of the IX All-Russian Forum of Tatar religious figures continue to arrive in Kazan. More than 700 delegates have registered in the national cultural center “Kazan”. Representatives of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Saratov and Chelyabinsk regions were among the first to arrive. At the moment, the delegations of Primorsky Krai, Komi Republic, Orenburg, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Irkutsk, Penza, Tyumen, Sverdlovsk regions, the Republic of Mordovia and Chuvashia have also arrived.

Arriving delegates made collective prayers in the mosque of Mardzhani. This mosque was chosen not by chance – this forum is timed to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Tatar theologian, philosopher, historian and enlightener Shigabutdin Mardzhani.
