The meeting was held in an expanded format: it was attended not only by branch managers of the Congress of the many towns and districts of the region, but also by active members of the executive committee, chairmen of the national- cultural centers and all, who are not indifferent to the life of social organization.

There were several important issues on the agenda. First of all, members of the executive committee had to decide on plans for the current year. Apparently, it will be very interesting and saturated. It is important that national holidays, contests , children’s activities are meant not only for residents of the provincial capital, but also many villages and rural settlements.

The meeting noted that the interest in native culture and language is growing every year, number of those who attend learning courses is increasing. However, insufficiency of teaches is observed. Since this year, the graduates of the Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University will receive a teaching diploma of the state sample. It is likely that this will help to solve problem partially.

In March, a traditional beauty and talent contest “Tatarochka” commences. This event is very loved by all the residents of the area. This year it will be held in a new format. Preparing for the competition is already underway in Chelyabinsk , and in the field. According to the chairman of the executive committee of the Congress of Tatars of Chelyabinsk region Lena Kolesnikova “Public organization has already proved its efficiency, executive committee members are active, each year Congress ranks are growing, but more needs to be done”.

Executive Committee meeting was attended by Abdrashitov Rifat, chief of the information and analytical department of the administration of the regional head. According to him, the successes of the Congress are well known at the Governor’s administration, and ready to support social workers. The meeting culminated in awarding and traditional tea. Letters of thanks for their active participation in the Congress in 2013 were presented to L.Almaeva, R.Kabirova, S.Gabidullina , V.Zagidullina, D.Safin , R.Opperman , Z.Shakhvaleeva, O.Ilyup.
