Askar Khusainov, a schoolboy from Kazan,  has  won a silver medal at the European Championship in youth among youth under 12 years old. Competitions were held on March 11-14 in the city of Stubicke-Toplice (Croatia) in three age categories: under 12, 16 and 20 years.

Starting March 17, with the blessing of Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, the verses of the Holy Quran are read around the clock at the Moscow Cathedral Mosque.

On March 14, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Tatarstan hosted the KNITU-KAI Rally in the Urals. Tatar art school of Semey city of East Kazakhstan region in the museum of F.M. Dostoevsky held a school event "In Memory of Farid Yarullin", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the world premiere of the ballet "Shurale".
