Applications for the annual Republican contest “A living language is a living nation” (“Tere tel — tere millet!”) have begun. Its purpose is to identify the best projects dedicated to the development of the state languages of the Republic of Tatarstan. The works are accepted from November 30 to December 12. The organizers are the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan and Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia”.

This year the competition is held in the nominations “The best media resource project for the network, “The best project of the information campaign”, “The best project of the promo video about the native language”, “The best project of the Internet campaign in support of the native language on the Internet” and “The best project in social networks that popularizes/preserves the native language”. Each of the five winners will receive a grant for the implementation or development of their own project. The total prize fund will be 500 thousand rubles.
