On December 2, Tomsk Drama Theater hosted a festive concert “30 years of preserving the heritage,” dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Center of Tatar Culture of the Tomsk Region.
The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev. He congratulated the Cultural Center on such a wonderful event:
“The Center of Tatar Culture popularizes culture, traditions, language, national values both in the region and beyond. Thank you for the work you are doing with our compatriots. I wish you success and prosperity,” he said.
The Chairman presented state awards and Letters of Gratitude from the World Congress of the Tatars.
Creative groups and representatives of Tatar organizations from Novosibirsk, Tyumen, Kemerovo, Omsk, Altai Territory and the Republic of Kazakhstan performed at the festival.
A retrospective photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Center of Tatar Culture was placed in the foyer. The Cultural Center prepared a delicious chak-chak as a gift for each guest.
