President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a decree awarding the Order of Alexander Nevsky to Vasil Shaykhraziev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of the Tatars.

The award was formally presented today in a ceremonial setting by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan.
