The traditional Tatar holiday Sabantuy was celebrated in Tarko-Sale. The event drew over a thousand residents of the Purovsky District.

The center of the public festivities was the “Pribrezhnoy” Park in Tarko-Sale, according to the press service of the Purovsky District administration. The celebration featured a “Tatar Bazaar” area, where guests could enjoy traditional national cuisine. There were also competitions in kuresh wrestling and a large dance flash mob. In the “Matur Kyz” contest, the most beautiful girl in the district was crowned.
