On June 28, the village of Novokurupkaevka in the Barabinsk District celebrated its 450th anniversary with a grand Sabantuy festival, which was also dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. It was a true celebration of the soul, uniting district residents, creative groups, and honored guests.
A delegation from Novosibirsk — President of the Public Organization “RTNKANO”, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Amir Gimadislamovich Gareev, Director of the State Institution “NOTKTS” of the Novosibirsk Region, Honored Cultural Worker and Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravza Shamilyevna Tikhomirova, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Tatarstan Safiya Magruppovna Gasanova, and soloist of the vocal ensemble “Duslar” Almira Gizatullina — arrived with gifts for the festival and presented the Novokurupkaevka cultural club with a multimedia speaker system with microphones and karaoke functionality.
Highlights of Sabantuy:

Creativity and Emotion – Performances by artists from the Barabinsk, Kuibyshev, Kyshtovka districts and Novosibirsk filled everyone with energy and joy!

Patriotism and Tradition – Children opened the Sabantuy with a touching dance holding the Russian flag, and traditional national games and tatarcha köräş (Tatar wrestling) added excitement!

Charity – Proceeds from souvenir sales were donated to support soldiers in the Special Military Operation zone.

Treats and Gifts – Sweet pastries, memorable souvenirs, and heartfelt greetings from the Barabinsk district administration awaited all attendees.
“People didn’t just come to the celebration — they became a part of it! The atmosphere was so warm that these emotions will stay in our hearts for a long time,” shared one of the participants.
